ដំណឹងចុងក្រោយ ពីប្រទេសម៉ាឡេស៊ី ៖ អតីតគណបក្សកាន់អំណាច UMNO (តំណាងរាស្ត្រ ៣០ នាក់) អាចរួមកម្លាំងជាមួយគណបក្សប្រឆាំងបច្ចុប្បន្ន Alliance of Hope (តំណាងរាស្ត្រ ៨២ នាក់) ដឹកនាំដោយលោក Anwar Ibrahim ដើម្បីបង្កើតរដ្ឋាភិបាលចម្រុះថ្មី។ ពេលនោះគណបក្ស National Alliance នឹងក្លាយទៅជាគណបក្សប្រឆាំង។

LATEST NEWS FROM MALAYSIA : Former ruling party UMNO (30 parliamentary seats) could join forces with the current opposition Alliance of Hope (82 parliamentary seats) led by Anwar Ibrahim to form a coalition government. The National Alliance would then represent the opposition.

Lessons for Cambodia from Malaysia’s 19 November 2022 elections (*)

១- គណបក្សកាន់អំណាច UMNO ដែលបានដឹកនាំប្រទេសជាង ៦០ ឆ្នាំកន្លងមកហើយ បានចាញ់ឆ្នោត ដោយសារអំពើពុករលួយ និងការធុញទ្រាន់ របស់ប្រជារាស្ត្រ។

២- អតីតនាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី Najib Razak ដែលជាអតីតប្រធានគណបក្សកាន់អំណាចចាស់ UMNO ផងដែរ ត្រូវបានតុលាការឯករាជ្យ កាត់ទោសឲ្យជាប់គុក ពីបទប្រព្រឹត្តអំពើពុករលួយ។

៣- លោក Mahathir Mohamad ដែលធ្លាប់ធ្វើជានាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី សរុប ២៤ ឆ្នាំ បានចាញ់ឆ្នោត នៅមណ្ឌលរបស់គាត់។

៤- គណបក្សមួយថ្មី ឈ្មោះ National Alliance ដែលអ្នកគាំទ្រមួយចំនួនធំ មកពីគណបក្សកាន់អំណាចចាស់ UMNO បានទទួលសំឡេងឆ្នោតគ្រប់គ្រាន់ ដើម្បីដឹកនាំរដ្ឋាភិបាលចម្រុះថ្មីមួយ។

៥- គណបក្សប្រឆាំង Alliance of Hope នៅតែទទួលបានសំឡេងឆ្នោតយ៉ាងច្រើន ក្នុងលំដាប់ថ្នាក់លេខ ១ តែមិនគ្រប់គ្រាន់ដើម្បីដឹកនាំប្រទេសតែឯង។ កម្លាំងប្រឆាំងដ៏ខ្លាំងក្លានេះ ធ្វើឲ្យគណបក្សកាន់អំណាច មិនអាចជិះសេះលែងដៃបានទេ។

៦- ក្នុងប្រវត្តិសាស្ត្រ ប្រទេសម៉ាឡេស៊ី ដែលធ្លាប់មាន នាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី ៩ រូបហើយពីមុនមក មិនដែលមាននាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រីណា ដែលលើកបន្តុបកូនខ្លួនឲ្យឡើងមកជំនួសខ្លួនឡើយ។

៧- ក្នុងការបោះឆ្នោតចុងក្រោយនេះ មានយុវជនជាអ្នកបោះឆ្នោតលើកដំបូងច្រើនលាននាក់ ហើយប្រទេសម៉ាឡេស៊ី ទើបតែរៀបចំប្រព័ន្ធចុះឈ្មោះបោះឆ្នោតដោយស្វ័យប្រវត្តិ សម្រាប់យុវជនគ្រប់រូប ដែលចូលដល់អាយុ ១៨ ឆ្នាំ។

៨- គណៈកម្មាធិការជាតិរៀបចំការបោះឆ្នោត មានភាពឯករាជ្យ ពីគ្រប់គណបក្សនយោបាយទាំងអស់ ហើយលទ្ធផលនៃការបោះឆ្នោតម្តងៗ ត្រូវបានទទួលស្គាល់ដោយគ្រប់គណបក្សទាំងអស់។

(*) LESSONS FOR CAMBODIA FROM MALAYSIA'S 19 NOVEMBER 2022 ELECTIONS

1- The ruling UMNO, which has governed the country for more than 60 years, was defeated because of accusations of corruption.

2- Former Prime Minister and former UMNO President Najib Razak has been sentenced to jail after conviction on corruption charges.

3- Former Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad who had been head of government for a total of 24 years, lost his parliamentary seat.

4- The newly-formed National Alliance whose supporters mainly come from UMNO, is in a position to form a new coalition government.

5- The opposition Alliance of Hope collected the largest share of the popular vote but not enough to lead the country. Such a strong opposition is part of the country's democratic system of checks and balances.

6- In Malaysia's history with 9 prime ministers since independence in 1957 no prime minister has ever managed to be succeeded by his own son.

7- Millions of youth voted this year for the first time with a system being set to automatically register them as voters once they reach 18.

8- There is an independent and neutral Electoral Commission, which explains why election results are accepted by all political parties.
