ថ្ងៃ ១០ ធ្នូ នេះ ក្នុងឱកាសទិវាសិទ្ធិមនុស្សអន្តរជាតិ យើងត្រូវរំលឹកថាសិទ្ធិជនជាតិដើមភាគតិច ក៏ស្ថិតក្នុងចំណោមសិទ្ធិមនុស្សជាមូលដ្ឋាន ដូចបានប្រកាសដោយអង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិដែរ។ កាលពីថ្ងៃ ១៣ កញ្ញា ២០០៧ អង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិ បានប្រកាសដោយឡែក ពីសិទ្ធិនៃជនជាតិដើមភាគតិច ដែលរស់នៅក្នុងប្រទេសជាច្រើន ទូទាំងពិភពលោក។ https://humanrights.gov.au/.../un-declaration-rights...
កាលពីឆ្នាំ ២០១៣ លោក សម រង្ស៊ី បានយកសេចក្តីថ្លែងការណ៍ទាំងស្រុងរបស់អង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិ ឆ្នាំ ២០០៧ ខាងលើនេះ មកប្រកាសជាមួយនឹងតំណាងជនជាតិដើមភាគតិចនៅកម្ពុជា មានជនជាតិចារ៉ាយជាដើម ដែលរស់នៅភូមិភាគឦសាន នៃប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។ គ្រាន់តែលោក សម រង្ស៊ី បានសន្យាចំពោះមុខតំណាងជនជាតិដើមភាគតិច នៅកម្ពុជាទាំងនោះ ដោយសំអាងបេះបិត ពីសេចក្តីថ្លែងការណ៍ ឆ្នាំ ២០០៧ របស់អង្គការសហប្រជាជាតិខាងលើនេះ ក្នុងឯកសារមួយដែលលោក សម រង្ស៊ី បានចុះហត្ថលេខាជាមួយតំណាងជនជាតិដើមភាគតិចនៅកម្ពុជា លោក សម រង្ស៊ី ត្រូវបានតុលាការទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ ក្រោមបញ្ជាលោក ហ៊ុន សែនកាត់ទោសឲ្យជាប់ពន្ធនាគារមួយជីវិត។ https://thediplomat.com/.../cambodian-court-sentences.../
(*) Today is the 74th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The rights of indigenous populations are an integral part of human rights.
I defended the rights of indigenous populations in Cambodia, when in 2013 I promised to faithfully respect the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP), made in September 2007. I was thinking of the day the democratic opposition comes to power in Cambodia.

UNDRIP remains the most comprehensive international instrument on the rights of indigenous peoples.
For my promise to the indigenous peoples of Cambodia, I was condemned last October to life in prison by a court in Phnom Penh under the orders of Prime Minister Hun Sen.
