Former Cambodian opposition MP Lim Kimya was killed in Thailand on Jan 7

A leaked audio recording of what sounds to be the voice of Cambodia's Hun Sen has appeared on the Facebook page of opposition leader Sam Rainsy. The audio clip purports to date from September 2024.

Hun Sen in the clip orders that opponents of his regime living in Thailand be eliminated. A former member of parliament for the Cambodian opposition, Lim Kimya, was assassinated in broad daylight in Bangkok on Jan 7 this year.
Lim Kimya had French as well as Cambodian citizenship.
