FIVE POINTS TO CONSIDER
- Hun Sen is deeply grateful to Trump because if the military clashes between Cambodian and Thai forces had continued for one to two more weeks, the “father-and-son” (Hun Sen / Hun Manet) regime in Phnom Penh would certainly have collapsed. Hun Sen had declared that he would march his army to Bangkok, but after realizing the true strength of the Thai military, he became terrified at the possibility of Thai fighter jets dropping bombs directly on his Tuol Krasaing compound near Phnom Penh.
- Hun Sen is now extremely disappointed and frustrated with Communist China because he realizes that Beijing has deceived him — just as it deceived Pol Pot before. China will allow Hun Sen’s regime to collapse without providing any military assistance to Cambodia this time. On the contrary, China is conducting joint military exercises with Thailand instead.
- Hun Sen has gone completely silent, as if hiding in a rat hole, out of shame and fear. He said that Cambodia must not dare to confront Thailand in order to avoid losing territory. Yet since the ceasefire was proclaimed, Cambodia has continued to lose land — even more than before. This shows that Hun Sen is incompetent and utterly weak. He fears losing his family’s power more than he fears Cambodia losing its land.
- Hun Sen announced that Cambodia plans to purchase fighter jets to defend its territory. In reality, there is no budget for such a purchase. Even if there were, Hun Sen would never dare allow the Cambodian army to possess fighter jets, because he fears that patriotic and pro-democracy Cambodian pilots might use them to bomb his own residence — to end the dictatorial and traitorous father-and-son regime once and for all.
- In September 2025, Hun Manet, in his capacity as Prime Minister, cowardly avoided attending the United Nations General Assembly in New York, as he or his father had done in previous years. This time, he dared not speak publicly, fearing that he would have to conceal the truth and that people might question him about his father’s personal dealings — particularly his ties to Chinese mafia groups involved in criminal activities along the Cambodian-Thai border. Moreover, no country at the United Nations now supports this anachronistic father-and-son regime, leaving it completely isolated and deeply disgraced.
