សមាជិកបក្សប្រឆាំងត្រូវបានចាប់ខ្លួនជាប្រព័ន្ធ / Opposition Members Systematically Arrested

ចាប់តាំងពីខែ មករា ឆ្នាំ ២០១៩ មេឃុំ ចៅសង្កាត់ សមាជិកក្រុមប្រឹក្សាឃុំ សង្កាត់ សមាជិកក្រុមប្រឹក្សាក្រុង ខណ្ឌ ស្រុក ជាប់ឆ្នោត និងសកម្មជនរបស់គណបក្សសង្គ្រោះជាតិ ចំនួន ៦៨ នាក់ហើយ ត្រូវបានចាប់ខ្លួនដោយគ្មានដីកាចាប់ខ្លួន និងបានឃុំខ្លួនបណ្តោះអាសន្ន ដោយតុលាការនៃរបប ហ៊ុន សែន។

Since January 2019, 68 CNRP commune and district elected councilors and commune chiefs have been arrested without arrest warrants and put on pre-trial detention.

Charges:

Incitement to commit felony; defamation; discrediting courts’ decision and attacking Hun Sen on Fb.

As incitement : appealing the public to welcome the return of Sam Rainsy, a convict.

A commune chief and youth leader arrested for meeting leaders in Malaysia.

Mental torture:

Shaving head

Put in overcrowded cells next to latrines

Extortion :

To get a better space, families must pay up to $125 a month to prison guards

Family separation:

All are breadwinners. Families are now forced to find work in Thailand, can not make payments to MFIs, must stop their children’s education or leave young children with relatives.

Surveillance :

Active members are closely monitored by village , commune chiefs in collaboration with local police.

No fair trial:

All charged in absence of lawyer or in police custody over the legal limit of 48 hours without permission to contact family members or lawyer.

Nov Vichet, CNRP activist in Boeng Salang Commune, Tuol Kork district, Phnom Penh. Arrested November 5, 2019.

Hu Srea, CNRP activist in Koh Kong province. Arrested November 5, 2019.

Hem Nhudely, member of CNRP executive committee in Kaheng Commune, Somrong Tong district, Kampong Speu province. Arrested November 4, 2019.

Sat Pha, CNRP activist in Reussey Keo Commune, Reussey Keo district, Phnom Penh. Arrested November 4, 2019.
Chhuon Channy, member of CNRP executive committee in Rokar Thom Commune, Chbar Morn district, Kampong Speu province. Arrested October 30, 2019.
