យោងសុន្ទរកថាគាត់ថ្ងៃនេះ លោក ហ៊ុន សែន​ ឈប់ហ៊ានផ្ទេរតំណែងឲ្យកូនគាត់ទៀតហើយ នៅឆ្នាំ ២០២៣ ខាងមុខនេះ ដូចអ្វីដែលគាត់បានប្រកាសមុននេះ ពីព្រោះគាត់ដឹងថាគាត់នឹងត្រូវនគរបាលអន្តរជាតិ (Interpol) ដែលសហការ ជាមួយតុលាការប្រទេសបារាំង ចាប់ខ្លួនគាត់យកទៅកាត់ទោស នៅពេលដែលគាត់លាលែងពីតំណែងគាត់ ជានាយករដ្ឋមន្ត្រី។

ថ្មីៗនេះ តុលាការប្រទេសបារាំង បានចេញដីកា ចាប់ខ្លួន លោក ហ៊ុយ ពិសិដ្ឋ និងលោក ហ៊ីង ប៊ុនហៀង រួចហើយ ទាក់ទងការវាយប្រហារដោយគ្រាប់បែក នៅទីក្រុងភ្នំពេញ ក្នុងថ្ងៃ ៣០ មីនា ១៩៩៧ តែមុខសញ្ញាធំជាងគេ របស់តុលាការប្រទេសបារាំង គឺតាមចាប់ខ្លួន លោក ហ៊ុន សែន ឲ្យទាល់តែបាន ពីព្រោះគាត់ជាអ្នកបញ្ជា ការវាយប្រហារ ដោយគ្រាប់បែកនេះ ដែលរៀបចំដោយរដ្ឋអំណាចប្រទេសកម្ពុជា។

Hun Sen in his speech of March 25 is no longer talking about his son Hun Manet to succeed him in 2023, as he has recently said. “I will be prime minister until I want to stop,” Hun Sen said today. "Age is not a matter.” He did not mention the future role of Hun Manet.
This backtracking on the succession issue comes from Hun Sen's fear of losing diplomatic immunity once he stands down, after the arrest warrants from a French court against his henchmen Huy Piseth and Hing Bun Heang for their role in the deadly grenade attack of March 30, 1997. The next target of the French justice system, once he stands down, will be Hun Sen himself.
